The purpose of the Center for Commercialization and Innovation (CCI) is: the creation of competitive scientific, technical and other research products with novelty and market-oriented, the development of new or improvement of existing technologies, the development of new types of products or services, as well as organizational and technical solutions of production, administrative, commercial or other nature, contributing to the promotion of new technologies.
Tasks solved by the CCI to achieve the main goal:
- development of a strategy for the development of innovative activities of the University;
- creating conditions for the protection of intellectual property and the rights of authors;
- expansion of international scientific and technical cooperation.
- organization and assistance to scientists and teaching staff of the university in conducting fundamental and applied scientific research on topical issues of natural, agricultural, technical, social, humanitarian and pedagogical sciences;
- formation of the register of fundamental and applied research projects of the university and monitoring (control) of timely execution;
- timely informing scientists and teaching staff about the holding of competitions of scientific projects on grant scientific and (or) scientific and technical programs;
- search for budgetary and extra-budgetary financing of science;
- monitoring of the implementation of scientific projects under grant programs of various organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- conducting business meetings, conferences, symposiums, round tables, foresight sessions and other events;
- registration, together with scientists and faculty of the university, of scientific developments in the form of a promising innovative project for commercialization;
- establishing contacts with the university's social partners – the leading enterprises of the region in order to commercialize the results of scientific research and development.
