Shakarim University, as the social HUB of Abay region, provides the university campus as a park area for the public. At the same time constantly improving and enhancing the Art objects of the campus.

Shakarim University has a museum (https://museum.shakarim.kz/), where not only the history of one of the oldest universities of the country, but also jewelry and other valuable exhibits of Kazakh culture are presented.

University students and academic staffs are regular participants of public performances for the population of the region (concerts, choir, orchestra, theater performances).

All students' requests for accommodation in the Student Houses are fully satisfied. University employees have the opportunity to get service housing.
