Relevance:

The project is aimed at solving an urgent problem for the region of the Abai region – the restoration of a ribbon pine forest, which is located near the city of Semey and has suffered significantly from wildfires. The idea of the project is to create an innovative technology for growing pine seedlings in a nursery, as well as in a natural environment that allows to significantly accelerate the reproduction of the common pine of the ribbon pine forest GLPR "Semey-Ormany"


Target:

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative method of growing pine seedlings using interpolyelectrolyte complexes of biopolymers as a soil structure-builder and a seedling growth stimulator.


Expectation:

- for 2023:
An analysis of the soils used for growing seedlings of scots pine will be carried out;
The study of soil structurates treated with interpolyelectrolyte complexes (IPEC) of various compositions for mechanical strength, depth of penetration of polymers into the soil thickness, resistance to water and wind erosion will be carried out;

- for 2024:
The effect of IPEC on the growth and development of seeds and seedlings of scots pine (Pinus Silvestris) will be studied in laboratory vegetation experiments;
The technique of soil treatment in the conditions of the nursery will be worked out, 1 article will be published in the foreign journal Polymers for Advanced;
Technologies, or another indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science database and (or) having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 50 (fifty);

- for 2025:
Pilot industrial tests of the developed technology will be carried out;
Instructions for the use of the developed technology will be developed 1 article will be published in a foreign journal Journal of Applied Polymer Science, or another indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science database and (or) having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 50 (fifty) 1 article will be published in a peer-reviewed foreign or domestic publication recommended by the KOKSNVO;
A Patent of the Republic of Kazakhstan for a utility model will be obtained.
