AP23488216 "Development of technology for chemical modification of chlorella cultivation using biopolymers and nanoparticles to create biologically active substances"
Supervisor: Kassymova Zhanar Sailaubekovna, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor
Relevance:
The idea of the project is to develop an innovative technology for chemical modification of nutrient media using biopolymers (chitosan, sodium carboxymethylcellulose) and nanoparticles (iron, silver), which allows increasing biomass productivity in laboratory and production conditions. The project is dedicated to the development of an environmentally friendly, low-cost, resource-saving feed additive for farm animals and birds, as well as a biofertilizer for soil and a viability stimulator for plant seeds with biological activity.
Target:
The goal of the project is to develop a technology for chemical modification of the cultivation of chlorella microalgae using biopolymers and nanoparticles to obtain biologically active substances (BAS) as feed additives, biofertilizers and biostimulators of growth and development.
Expectation:
1) The physico-chemical modification of chlorella cultivation in a closed-type photobioreactor will be carried out;
2) A study of chemical modification of chlorella cultivation using nanoparticles (silver and iron) and biopolymers (chitosan and sodium carboxymethylcellulose) and biochemical analysis for biologically active substances will be performed;
3) The effect of biologically active substances of chlorella on soil fertility and viability of vegetable seeds in laboratory experiments will be studied;
4) The technique of complex tillage of soil and plant seeds will be worked out in the conditions of agricultural production of Prirechnoye Agrofirms LLP;
5) Modification of the manufactured forms of chlorella preparation (granules, tablets, suspension, paste) will be carried out;
6) Pilot tests will be conducted on the use of various doses and forms of biological active additive feed in diets to study the effect of chemical modification of cultured chlorella on the productivity and immunological status of animals and birds;
7) Instructions for the use of the developed technology will be developed;
8) 1 doctoral dissertation will be prepared, 2 (two) articles will be published in scientific publications indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded and included in the 1st (first) and (or) 2nd (second) quartile by impact factor in the Web of Science database and (or) having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 65 (sixty-five), and a 1 (one) article in domestic publication recommended by CCSES.
