Relevance:
The project is aimed at providing medical, psychological and pedagogical assistance to children and adults with developmental disabilities and diseases of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems through the use of hippotherapy as a scientifically proven method of rehabilitation and development.
Research shows that hippotherapy improves motor skills, reduces muscle hypertonicity and develops coordination, increases concentration and improves the ability to interact with others. Regular interaction with horses reduces anxiety and helps regulate emotions. Hippotherapy stimulates the development of sensory integration, which is especially important for children with autism spectrum disorders.
Target:
Creation of a hippotherapy center with a qualified team, modern infrastructure and the necessary equipment to provide quality services to children and adults with special needs.
Expectation:
- Improving the physical condition and coordination of project participants.
- Reducing anxiety levels and developing emotional stability in patients.
- Strengthening social interaction skills and adaptation in society.
- Increasing awareness of the benefits of hippotherapy in society.
- Developing accessible rehabilitation infrastructure in the region.
- Increasing the level of inclusiveness in society.
Result:
The implementation of the hippotherapy center project will improve the quality of life of participants, promote innovative rehabilitation methods and strengthen the social image of the university as a progressive educational institution that supports social initiatives.
