Academic Affairs Department


Main activities:

The activity is aimed at:

  • coordinating the activities of all structural units of the university on academic issues;
  • coordinating and organizing the work of the academic council, the commission for academic quality, and the academic committee;
  • providing methodological support for the development and implementation of educational programs;
  • providing methodological support for the development of educational materials by the teaching staff used in the educational process;
  • monitoring the relevance of educational content, the use of innovative teaching methods, and assessing student knowledge;
  • identifying prospective directions for improving educational processes;
  • timely planning, organizing, and coordinating the educational process at all levels of personnel training;
  • monitoring the development of planning documents: working educational plans, schedules of the educational process in accordance with the requirements of higher and postgraduate education and the methodological instructions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education;
  • timely preparation of the calculation of the annual academic workload by subjects and courses according to the working educational plan;
  • coordinating the organization and conduct of all types of internships, professional adaptation activities, dual learning, employment, professional development, and career growth of graduates;
  • coordinating efforts to establish and expand links between the university and employers, practice supervisors, local executive bodies, employment services, public organizations, and associations in the system of managing the quality of specialist training;
  • coordinating activities to organize events to promote the employment of graduates such as job fairs, career days, business presentations, graduate allocation, and competitions.
  • timely accounting, registration, and monitoring of the movement of students from enrollment to graduation in the "Platonus" IS, the National Educational Database (NOBD), the Unified Higher Education Platform (EPVO), and the "Financial Center" information system of the university.
  • timely issuance of orders related to student movements for all levels of education (students, master's students, doctoral students, preparatory department);
  • monthly and quarterly reconciliation and comparative analysis of student enrollment data with the university's accounting department and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education;
  • providing timely statistical data to university departments, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and other institutions and organizations;
  • timely processing and documentation of student records;
  • coordinating the quality organization of all processes for reviewing grant and presidential scholarship applications (appointing the competition commission, verifying applicant documents, organizing commission meetings, submitting documents to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and local executive bodies);
  • timely submission of the annual statistical report 3-NK;
  • providing the state service of "providing free meals to certain categories of citizens and persons under care, as well as students and trainees of higher education institutions";
  • providing the state service of "issuing duplicates of documents on higher and postgraduate education" (preparation of applications for manufacturing document blanks, maintaining strict reporting records, submitting reports to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, preparing and issuing duplicate education documents);
  • implementing the "rules for providing preferential travel through compensation payments for students based on state.
