"Without a Mask" Art Therapy

The Psychological Support Service organized an art therapy session called "Without a Mask" for students of the Higher School of Physics and Mathematics. The session was conducted by the psychological support service specialist, K.A. Sagyndykova.

"Without a Mask" Art Therapy is a therapeutic method that allows individuals to openly and sincerely express their emotions and inner world through creativity. By applying this therapy, students achieved several important results:

  • Self-awareness – Through the creative process, students began to better understand their emotions, inner anxieties, and desires.
  • Emotional expression – Using drawing, painting, or other creative methods, they were able to release internal tension and stress.
  • Increased confidence – By being "without a mask," meaning openly expressing their thoughts, students became more confident in themselves.
  • Development of communication skills – By working in groups, they learned to communicate freely with one another.
  • Development of creative thinking – In art therapy, there are no strict rules, so freedom allowed them to develop their creative abilities.
  • Psychological relief – By releasing internal pressure and emotional burdens, students felt a sense of relief.
