The course covers the main problems of economic analysis at the introductory level and is focused on the development of students ' critical thinking skills. Video lectures complement the group work at the seminars, during which the following issues are discussed interactively: opportunity costs and the problem of rational choice, market demand and supply, shortcomings of the market system and the economic role of the state, macroeconomic circulation and key macroeconomic indicators, aggregate demand and supply, economic growth and alternative explanations of the nature of business cycles, state fiscal and monetary policy, foreign economic relations of the country

This Minor prepares unique specialists who are not only in demand on the market, but also have interdisciplinary skills and are focused on the development of critical thinking among students.  An entrepreneur should have not just a sum of knowledge, but be aware of the latest achievements of economic thought. Only in this case, his thinking will be really modern, which assumes an orientation to the world experience. The development and deepening of international integration, access to the world market, require not only special training, but also the psychological readiness of students for such a significant expansion of the field of activity. Students will have a unique opportunity not only to gain knowledge in the field of development in forecasting business processes, to get acquainted with the basics of human resource management, knowledge of optimal and effective business process building, but also to reveal the main directions of the leader's work in the group; the role of leadership in conflict situations; ways to develop leadership potential and leadership qualities of a person.

  • Formulates basic economic concepts and concepts, the differences between the micro-and macro-economic level

  • Explains the microeconomic mechanisms of establishing equilibrium in the conditions of various market structures;
  • Solves computational problems for comparative statics using basic micro - and macroeconomic models of supply and demand
  • Critically assesses the reliability of information sources and the validity of alternative points of view, arguing his own assessment of economic phenomena

Business design

The discipline of business design is aimed at developing the skills of planning the activities of economic entities in a competitive economy. During the course, students will be able to evaluate a business idea and its compliance with the business planning strategy, study best practices in the field of business design methodology, acquire the skills to use this knowledge in professional activities and form the necessary competencies. The discipline contains such sections as: theoretical aspects of business design; structure and environment of business projects; business project management processes; practical basics of business project development; evaluation of the effectiveness of business projects; methodology and performance indicators of projects; planning of response to risks of a business project; information technologies of project management

Price formation

The discipline "Pricing" reveals the role of price and the methodology of pricing in market conditions. Introduces the system of domestic, world and foreign trade prices. The study of this course will allow students to competently and competently use the techniques of forming a pricing strategy and methods to develop informed decisions that ensure effective business management. In the course of this course, students get acquainted with the comparative advantages and disadvantages of various ways of selling goods and their impact on prices. The influence of market types, state regulation, the nature of the product, the stages of the life cycle of goods and competitors on the development of pricing policy.

Leadership

The course "Leadership" is aimed at studying the issues of the essence and nature of leadership. Introduces the theory of personal qualities of leadership, styles of effective leadership, the implementation of leadership styles in the organization. Students will get acquainted with behavioral and situational leadership in practice.This will allow a deeper understanding of the role of leadership as a way of realizing personality; factors and styles of effective leadership; communication as the main tool of a leader. Studying the course will allow you to reveal the main directions of the leader's work in the group; the role of leadership in conflict situations; ways of developing leadership potential and leadership qualities of the individual.
