A meeting on the topic "Synergy of science and education for sustainable development of the region" was held at Shakarim University with the participation of heads and representatives of the departments of the Abai region. The main purpose of the event is to discuss topical problems of the region and search for joint solutions based on scientific and educational potential.

Zh. Kalibekkyzy, a member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Science, presented current projects and key areas of scientific activity of university scientists. In turn, E. Dulatbai, member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Innovation, presented the concept of the Agrotechnological Innovation Hub of the Abai region as an important step in the development of the region.

The heads of the departments of the Abai region identified problematic issues in various fields and suggested areas for joint activities. The discussion was attended by college directors and deans, heads of scientific centers of the university, who shared their successful experience and proposed scientifically based approaches to solving regional problems.

The meeting confirmed the importance of dialogue between science, education and government authorities to find sustainable and innovative solutions aimed at the development of the region.
