Tursungozhinova G.S. published more than 150 scientific works, including 2 textbooks, 4 teaching aids, 2 monographs, 30 scientific articles COCSON MES RK, including those included in the database Scopus, more than 100 theses-reports at international conferences, has publications in scientific psychological-pedagogical and medical editions, the developer of 10 new author disciplines.

She participated in the republican project "Lekoteka as a form of implementation of social services support programmes" by the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Centre for Preschool Education and Upbringing, created on the basis of SSPI.

She was an executor of the international Project TEMPUS 517504 "Modernisation and development of curricula on pedagogy and educational management in Central Asian countries", TEMPUSEDUCAJEP 517504-DE-2011-2015.

During her practical work, she has completed training cycles in psychotherapy, advanced training courses on the cycle: "Organisation of psychological assistance in emergency situations" in the State Scientific Centre of Social and Forensic Psychiatry named after V.P. Serbsky. V.P. Serbsky State Research Centre for Social and Forensic Psychiatry, Moscow. From 2011 to 2021 the teacher improved her qualification level on the basis of Shakarim University, Altai State Pedagogical University, Barnaul, National Centre for Professional Development "Orleu", Almaty, Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev, VKSU named after S. Amanzholov, University of New Castle (UK), Institute of Practical Psychology "Imaton", St. Petersburg.

Tursungozhinova G.S. - holder of the title "The best teacher of the university 2015"; correspondent member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan.

At the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology for students and undergraduates teaches such disciplines as - Medical Psychology, Pathopsychology, Clinical Psychology, Work with families of children with special educational needs, Fundamentals of Psychotherapy, etc. Tursungozhinova G.S. actively communicates with educational and educational institutions, as well as with students and undergraduates.  She actively liaises with educational and medical institutions of the region, conducts training seminars for teachers on inclusive education, psychological support of educational process in education, prevention of autoaggression among young people.
