Main activities:
1.1 The scientific library is leading
structural subdivision of the NJSC Shakarim University of the city
Semey", as well as a center for the dissemination of knowledge, spiritual and
intellectual communication, culture.
1.2 Research library
provides students and university employees with the right to free
access to literature and information. Regulates general issues of the organization
of its activities.
1.3 The scientific library organizes services
readers in the reading and electronic rooms, subscriptions,
scientific and bibliographic department, using methods of individual and
group service.
1.4 Provides replenishment of the fund in accordance with the topics of scientific research of the University.

The activities of the scientific library are focused on humanization
universal human values; propaganda and disclosure of cultural heritage,
available in the fund, providing literature for social needs
readers.

bibliographic support for educational and scientific research.

The University, in accordance with current legislation, finances and
controls the activities of the scientific library, creates the necessary
conditions for its functioning.
1.8 Procedure for access to funds,
the list of basic services and the conditions for their provision are determined in
in accordance with the “rules for using the university scientific library”.
1.9 The scientific library is directly subordinate to the Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation.
