I. Fill out application for the 2022-2023 academic year with full details at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UYT6l22HhkToYQj_h490RytjEcDHbuw_2cq4T_fyzAw/edit?usp=sharing
II. Send an official letter of request to the partner university (issued by educational and methodological department);
III. Collection of documents according to the list*:
1. Application of a student traveling under academic mobility program (Appendix 1);
2. Agreement on studying under academic mobility program (Appendix 2);
3. Transcript in accordance with form of the University F 042-1.27-2020 (submitted through doc.semgu.kz);
4. Report of the decision of the meeting of the department, with signatures of the head of the department and secretary;
5. Letters of recommendation from department;
6. A tripartite agreement between student, sending and receiving university (according to the established form of universities) (registered by educational and methodological department);
7. Individual curriculum (IEP) indicating disciplines and number of credits that will be studied at the host university.
8. Copy of ID card;
9. Written consent of the parents (guardians, legal representatives) of the applicant sent to study under academic mobility at universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (handwritten original);
10. Photo 3*4.
11. Submission of a memo from the head of the department addressed to EMD head with full details through doc.semgu.kz (there is a dean of the faculty, a director of the EPED, a coordinator for academic mobility of the EMD in the list);
V. Document status tracking on doc.semgu.kz;
VI. Implementation of the departure;
VII. Get a transcript.

II. Send an official letter of request to the partner university (issued by the educational and methodological department);
III. Collection of documents according to the list*:
1. Application of the teacher leaving under academic mobility program (Appendix 1);
2. Agreement on teaching under academic mobility program (Appendix 2);
3. Resume (with photo);
4. Diploma, diploma of a candidate, master (copy) with application (certified by HR
department);
5. Letters of recommendation from the head of the department;
6. A tripartite agreement between teaching staff, sending and receiving universities
(according to the established form of universities) (registered by educational and methodological department);
7. Copy of ID card;
8. Photo 3*4 (3 pcs).
IV. Submission of a memo from head of the department addressed to EMD head with full details through doc.semgu.kz (there is a dean of the faculty, a director of the EPED, a coordinator for academic mobility of the EMD in the list
V. Document status tracking on doc.semgu.kz;
VI. Submission of a memo from EMD to HR department;
VII. Obtain an extract from the order and a travel certificate in HR department;
VIII. Approval of the class schedule;
IX. Departure;
X. Registration of a report on the done work with supporting photos;
XI. Registration of a supporting certificate (issued by partner university).

How to participate in external academic mobility programs:
1. First of all, you need to get information about current programs.
To do this, you can read the information on our social networks Instagram @skacc_shakarim or Facebook facebook.com/shakarim.international.

2. Find out the conditions for the selected external academic mobility program.
Determine whether you meet the requirements for participation.
3. Provide the necessary package of documents in accordance with the requirements of a specific program.
Academic mobility under the grant of the Ministry
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides grants for academic mobility for 1 semester at leading universities in Europe, the USA and Southeast Asia for undergraduate students.
Each year, a competition for a grant is announced in March-April.
List of documents for participation in the competition for the grant of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for academic mobility in Europe, Southeast Asia and the USA:
Required documents:
1) Application for participation in the competition;
2) Passport (copy and electronic version in pdf format);
3) Student's transcript (copy and electronic version in pdf format);
4) Consent of the applicant's parents, guardians, legal representatives (written by hand and signed);
Additional documents (if available)
5) An internationally recognized certificate confirming the level of English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL). If these certificates are absent, a language exam will be held at Shakarim University;
6) Copies of diplomas, certificates, letters of appreciation (if any) by specialization;
7) Copies of birth certificates of four or more minor children living together or a copy of the court decision on adoption (for large families);
8) A document confirming the absence of the student's parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care);
9) A document confirming the student's disability (if any).

1) Application addressed to the Chairman of the Board-Rector (written by hand, signed by the dean and head of the department)
2) Student's transcript (copy and electronic version in pdf format)
3) Photo 3*4 (4 pcs)
4) Parental consent on the trip (written by hand, signed by the parent)
5) A letter of recommendation in English from the curator or a teacher of the department
6) Characteristics in English from the curator or a teacher of the department
7) Individual curriculum (copy and electronic version in pdf format)
8) File folder
9) Certificate of language proficiency with Intermediate B1 level (copy and scan)
10) Certificates, letters of appreciation, diplomas (if available) – copies and scans
11) Passport (copy and scan in pdf format)
12) Identity card (copy and photo)

From which course can I go to a foreign university under an academic mobility program?
Any undergraduate student can study under the academic mobility program from the 1st semester of the 2nd year. To do this, in the spring semester of the 1st year, you must submit a package of documents to the International Collaboration Center.
I want to participate in the competition for the award of grants from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education intended for the academic mobility program. What language do I need to know and is it necessary to have a valid IELTS, TOEFL certificate?
To participate in the competition for the award of grants from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education intended for academic mobility, knowledge of English is required. A current IELTS certificate is desirable but not required. In case you do not have an international certificate, you can take a free language exam at Shakarim University. Exam’s results are valid for the competition. Typically the exam follows the IELTS format.
I want to go under the academic mobility program to a Turkish university. What language should I know for this?
To study at Turkish universities, you must have knowledge of the Turkish language at a level not lower than B1 - Intermediate. There are no special exams required. Knowledge of the language must be confirmed by a certificate of completion of a Turkish language course from any language school (the seal must not be scanned, as is usually the case with online schools).
