The Marketing and Communications Center is a structural unit responsible for the formation of the university's image, promotion of educational services and the effective organization of internal and external communications. The center's main activities include:
1. Formation and development of image:
Development of strategies for creating and strengthening the university brand.
Popularization of the values, achievements and unique features of Shakarim University.
Promotion of a positive image through media and advertising.
2. Media and public relations
Interaction with the media: preparation of press releases, organization of interviews and press conferences.
Activity in social networks: maintenance of the university's official pages, creation of content and interaction with the audience.
Information support for the official website of the university.
3. Marketing and advertising:
Development of marketing strategies for the promotion of educational programs.
Organization of advertising campaigns aimed at attracting students.
Preparation of presentation materials and videos about the university's activities.
4. Analytics and research:
Studying the educational market, competitors and target audience.
Preparing analytical reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing and communication activities.
5. Organizing career guidance work at the university:
Informing school graduates of Semey and the Abay region about the university and its educational programs;
Informing college graduates of Semey and the Abay region about the university and its educational programs;
Producing booklets, information leaflets, videos and slides about educational programs;
Creating and organizing social chats based on selected educational programs and subjects chosen by school graduates;
Conducting an Instagram competition among school graduates;
Organizing scientific projects and creative competitions for school and college graduates;
Initiating "Open Days" by faculties;
Initiating subject Olympiads for high school students by departments;
Organization of career guidance work with school graduates from regions participating in the "Serpin 2050" program;
Organization of mobile group trips for career guidance;
Organization of explanatory work on the procedure for admission to master's and doctoral programs;
Establishing contacts with school principals and class teachers of graduating classes.
6. Organize the work of the Admissions Committee:
Approval of the composition of the Admissions Committee;
Providing the Admissions Committee with the necessary technical and information materials.
