This course introduces the theoretical and practical foundations of logistics as a system for managing material, information and financial flows. It covers logistics functions, structure of logistics systems, supply chains, types of logistics and their role in improving enterprise efficiency and competitiveness in a market economy.

Digital logistics and e-commerce

The course focuses on modern digital technologies in logistics and e-commerce. It covers logistics information systems, online platforms, warehouse automation, e-commerce logistics and last-mile delivery. Special attention is given to digital solutions for managing orders, deliveries and customer interaction in logistics networks.

Transport corridors and international transportation

The course is dedicated to the study of international transport corridors, transit routes and organization of international freight transportation. It covers multimodal transport systems, legal and customs regulations, and cross-border logistics. Special attention is paid to analyzing Kazakhstan’s transit potential within global transport networks.
