In 2025, several applications were submitted under the Erasmus+ program, as well as under the European research program Marie Skłodowska-Curie. Based on the results of the competitions, Shakarim University was selected to participate in a project within the Erasmus+ program as part of an international consortium led by the Tajik branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University. In addition, the university won four grants for international academic mobility in partnership with universities in Greece, Türkiye, Romania, and Poland.
