representation of the University's interests in court, as well as other bodies, organizations and institutions of any form of ownership, in accordance with the established procedure when considering legal issues;

consulting structural divisions (departments, departments) regarding the application of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the established procedure;

development of legal proposals and their submission to the University management for consideration;

verification of compliance with the requirements of the legislation of draft orders, instructions, resolutions, orders and other legal documents submitted to the management for signature and their endorsement;

development of and participation in the development of contracts and regulations governing business relations;

provision of advisory assistance on the organization of contractual work, taking measures to ensure the timely and proper conclusion of civil and labor contracts, recording the fulfillment of contractual obligations, application of legal measures of influence in case of non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of obligations under contracts;

providing advisory guidance in claims work, analyzing the status of work on filing and reviewing claims, developing proposals to eliminate deficiencies in the University's activities identified during the review of claims and civil or administrative disputes, and submitting these proposals to management;

participating in the development and implementation of measures to strengthen financial and labor discipline;

legal execution of materials prepared by the relevant structural divisions (accounting and reporting department, access control service) on theft, selfish abuse, shortages and other offenses for their transfer to law enforcement and judicial authorities;

checking the status of legal work and compliance with the law in the activities of structural divisions;

preparing and sending claims on behalf of the University;

reviewing protocols of disagreements received from counterparties;

monitoring compliance with the law in the University's activities;

making proposals to bring persons guilty of violating the norms of current legislation to disciplinary and material liability;

initiating an internal official investigation in accordance with the established procedure.
