SmartFinance Expo 2026: a forum where changes to the new Tax Code were discussed
The forum “SmartFinance Expo 2026: navigating the new Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at Shakarim University, where regional entrepreneurs, representatives of government bodies, professional accountants, economists and young specialists met on one platform.
The purpose of the event is to professionally discuss changes in the new Tax Code, which will come into force in 2026, and to explain the mechanisms of their practical application.
At the opening of the forum, the organizers emphasized the need to analyze the impact of the new code on business, public administration and the financial sector. “If tax regulations are updated, operating methods must also be updated. We have gathered today not to make assumptions, but to gain a clear understanding,” noted the forum moderator.
During the event, experts from various fields spoke.
Head of the Department of Explanatory Work and the Contact Center of the State Revenue Department for the Abay Region, Asem Turlybekova, elaborated on the main articles of the new Tax Code and explained its impact on entrepreneurship.
Professional accountant, Master of Economics, tax consultant Marina Izmailova presented practical examples demonstrating effective ways to meet the new requirements of the code. The head of the outsourcing company, certified practicing accountant Aliya Zaripova shared specific cases from the practice of financial accounting in business structures.
Director of KassCentre LLP, 1C specialist Anton Medvedev discussed issues of updating information systems and bringing accounting automation in line with new requirements.
The event was attended by students and graduates of the Graduate School of Business and Communications of Shakarim University, who, together with experts, analyzed the practical impact of the new code. The professional training of young specialists was highly appreciated by the forum participants.
The organizers called on enterprises and institutions to establish cooperation with students and graduates of the university, expressing their readiness to interact on personnel issues.
At the end of the forum, participants noted the main risks and opportunities during the implementation of the new Tax Code. According to experts, legislative changes open up new prospects for improving business processes, optimizing accounting and increasing economic efficiency.
