Information session “Obligation to train young specialists”
An online information session was held at Shakarim University on the topic “Obligation to train young specialists” for graduate students studying under a state educational grant. The speaker of the event was Akzira Serikkali, Deputy Director of the Monitoring Department of Financial Center JSC.
The purpose of the event is to explain the legal requirements to grant recipients, answer pressing questions about the work procedure, and also prepare young professionals to enter the labor market.
During the session, participants were provided with detailed information in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education” and the rules for working out the grant, including the mandatory three-year work for graduates. Particular attention was paid to the issues of filling staffing needs in rural areas, supporting social sector specialists and increasing labor mobility. The cases in which young specialists can be exempted from the obligation to work off a state grant were also clarified.
The information session was attended by students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the university, as well as the head of the career and practice department Aksaule Tleubaeva and department staff. During the event, participants received answers to questions regarding:
employment mechanisms;
-available vacancies;
-demanded specialties in the regions;
-conditions for deferment or release from the obligation to work.
The event was held in an interactive format, which allowed graduates to directly discuss issues of interest to them with specialists.
Finally, the participants were presented with methodological materials on training issues, as well as contact information for the consultation center. The online meeting is aimed at supporting young specialists in a confident start to their professional journey and ensuring the effective implementation of the grant training system.
