The purpose of the scientific circle «Matrix»:

To deepen students’ interest in natural science disciplines through the study of mechanisms genetic regulation of molecular cellular processes.

The main objectives of the scientific circle «Matrix» are:

• providing students with the opportunity outside the curriculum to expand and deepen their knowledge of the structure and functioning of genes;

• study of theoretical and applied issues of medical genetics;

• development of problem solving skills in genetics and molecular biology;

• formation of analytical, prognostic, organizational and communication skills;

• development of creative initiative, independence and responsibility among students.
