Real growth. Real challenges. Real people.
The INNOVATE SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY forum, held on May 4, 2025, was not just a collection of events — it became an intellectual mirror of the region, reflecting its challenges and future solutions. More than 4,500 participants and guests visited Shakarim University on this day, including high school graduates, college students, master’s applicants, scientists, entrepreneurs, and international experts.
INNOVATE has become a launchpad for regional renewal. This is where a higher level begins.
Special attention that day was paid to the development of practical skills and the popularization of working professions. One of the forum’s standout participants was Dias Baidyussenov, a lecturer at Semey Medical College.
“At INNOVATE SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY, we sparked interest by demonstrating basic first aid skills,” said Dias. “We showed how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on adults and children, and explained how first aid can be provided at home.”
The team from Semey Medical College not only presented their developments, but also conducted career guidance work aimed at promoting medical professions and teaching essential skills to a wide audience.
“For us, it was important not just to participate, but to train as many people as possible in first aid skills,” Baidyussenov noted. “Not long ago, we held a similar event at Abai Arena, and now we’ve continued this important mission at the forum.”
The college's participation became a meaningful component of the forum: they showed how knowledge can be combined with practice, how education can save lives, and how a region can be inspired to develop through competence and responsibility.
INNOVATE SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY has once again proven its mission — to unite, empower, and launch real change. This is where a new generation is forming — one unafraid to act and ready to take responsibility.
