On April 2, 2025, a scientific report by the head of the Scientific Center for Pedagogical Research of the Shakarim University O.M. Zholymbayev on the topic: "Defining trends and tendencies in pedagogical research based on the study of keywords in world and domestic practice" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The report was held within the walls of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics and aroused keen interest among the scientific community, doctoral students, young researchers and teachers. As part of the presentation, Oraltay Muratkhanuly presented the results of the analysis of keywords used in the largest international scientific databases, including Scopus and PubMed, as well as domestic publications, such as the KazNU Bulletin of the pedagogical series.
Particular attention was paid to comparing keywords popular in scientific articles in countries with a developed education system (Japan, Turkey, Singapore) and their compliance with current research areas in Kazakhstan. The speaker emphasized that keyword analysis allows not only to identify "hot spots" in science, but also to predict future scientific priorities.
In the final part of the report, O.M. Zholymbayev proposed using the keyword database as a tool for transforming educational programs and scientific policy.
O.M. Zholymbayev's report directly correlates with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proclaimed by the UN. In particular, the presented methods and keyword analytics contribute to the achievement of SDG 4 - "Quality Education", ensuring a more precise focus of scientific research in the field of pedagogy, as well as SDG 9 - "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure", since they allow the formation of innovative approaches to the development of scientific infrastructure and educational programs.
The event became an important platform for exchanging opinions and discussing the prospects for the development of science in the field of pedagogy, as well as the introduction of new analytical approaches in research practice.
