Shakarim University students won the republican debate tournament

One of the projects aimed at increasing the civic activity of young people in the country and creating a culture of exchange of opinions is the republican debate tournament dedicated to the AMANAT party cup. In such a large-scale competition, Shakarim University students distinguished themselves, showed excellent results and found themselves on the podium.

The debate tournament was organized by the youth wing of the Zhastar Rukh party of the AMANAT party. The goal of the project is to have a special impact on young people’s discussion of important issues in society, to develop critical thinking skills, and to improve the culture of discussion. Today, debates are not only an intellectual competition, but have also become an effective tool for the personal development of youth and the development of leadership qualities.

The 60 best teams from 20 regions of the country were selected for the tournament, and the competition among the participants was at a high level. The debates were held in Kazakh and Russian languages. In addition, the debate took place in the American and British parliamentary formats. Both of these formats require participants to have a high level of preparation, logical thinking and the ability to quickly create arguments. At the same time, the knowledge, experience and responsibility of Shakarim University students were especially noticeable.

The winners of the tournament were students of the Higher School of Education Serikkazy Nurkadir and Archin Didar. Thanks to their skills and intellectual potential, they brought glory to the university. This victory is clear evidence of the development of the debate school at Shakarim University.

The total prize fund of the tournament was 3 million tenge. It also shows how much support the debate movement has in the country and the importance of the situation for young people.
