HSK TESTING CENTER OFFICIALLY OPENS AT SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY
Shakarim University is pleased to announce that it is now an official testing center for the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), the international Chinese proficiency exam. This test adheres to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and consists of six levels, each of which must be taken separately.
The HSK certificate opens new educational opportunities, allowing candidates to enroll in leading universities in China for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as language courses.
Until now, Kazakhstan had four official HSK testing centers located in Almaty, Astana, Aktobe, and Karaganda. Now, Shakarim University in Semey has become the fifth official HSK testing center, providing local residents with convenient access to international certification.
HSK exams will be conducted monthly. The official 2025 Chinese language exam schedule is available on the university’s website.
