Scientists from Shakarim University discussed international research on Alakol at the University of Zaragoza

Scientists of Shakarim University held a number of scientific meetings at Zaragoza University, one of the prestigious higher educational institutions of Spain, and presented the university's research directions to the international academic environment. During the visit, experts presented the interim results of the researches being carried out within the framework of the program called "Comprehensive analysis of the natural, historical and cultural landscape potential of Alaköl".

At the meeting, the work carried out on the scientific assessment of the natural resources, historical and cultural heritage and tourism and recreational potential of the Alaköl region was widely discussed. At the same time, an exchange of views on modern methods of studying natural and cultural landscapes with integrative methods was organized. The parties considered the development of joint scientific projects, preparation of joint articles and expansion of academic cooperation. Specialists of the University of Zaragoza showed great interest in the research results presented by Shakarim University and expressed their desire to jointly study the biodiversity, historical data and recreational opportunities of the Alakol region. During the meeting, both sides defined specific directions of work for the future period.

The international trip not only strengthened Shakarim University's connection with the world scientific community, but also opened up new opportunities for comprehensive research of the Alaköl region. At the same time, it was an important step aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the program and expanding the scope of international cooperation.
