Seminar on the development of mass sports

At Shakarim University, a city scientific and methodological seminar was held on the topic “Football - a tool for the development of mass sports among students,” organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports and the university sports club. The event was aimed at increasing the role of football in our region, as well as increasing the sports activity of student youth.

At the opening of the seminar, the University Vice-Rector for Strategy and Social Development Askar Kasymov made a congratulatory speech, emphasizing the importance of developing mass sports among students.

The event was attended by the head of the department of physical education and sports of the city of Semey, teaching staff of the department of physical culture and sports of the university, coaches of the sports club, coaches of FC "Elimai" and mini-football (MF), as well as physical education teachers of technical and professional educational institutions and higher educational institutions of the city of Semey.

During the seminar, issues of the development of football as a mass sport, improvement of sports infrastructure in educational institutions, as well as a number of current topics related to increasing the physical activity of students.

Experts shared their opinions on the importance of increasing the interest of young people in football and strengthening their health through systematic training.

Following the results of the seminar, the participants noted that joint work contributes to bringing student sports to a new level, and expressed the need to continue to hold scientific and methodological meetings at on a regular basis.
