SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY RECTOR'S GREETING ON MARCH 8 – INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Dear women of Shakarim University!

Today is your day – March 8, International Women's Day.
Although winter has not yet fully given way to spring, on this wonderful occasion, I would like to express my gratitude, appreciation, and respect for your hard work, perseverance, boundless patience, and hearts filled with kindness.

Mother, wife, grandmother, sister... Scientist, teacher, researcher, mentor.
You are the source of knowledge passed down through generations, shaping the future leaders of Kazakhstan. A woman as a mother is the essence of life, the backbone of existence, the guardian of family harmony, the mentor of humanity, and the source of kindness and purity.

You light the flame of family warmth while also bearing great responsibility at work. You make bold decisions and, through your unwavering determination, have the power to change the world.

We live in an era of global challenges: digital transformation, technological revolution, and shifts in societal values. And in each of these aspects, you find your rightful place, adapt, take initiative, and, as guides of knowledge, contribute to shaping a new era – the future. At the same time, you continue to spread warmth and care around you, helping to make our university a true family.

63% of our student community consists of young women. I am confident that among them are future scientists exploring new frontiers in technology, biotechnology, engineering, and IT.

In today's world, which demands constant adaptation and the resolution of complex challenges, you continue to display resilience, responsibility, and wisdom. As psychologists, you solve issues that often remain unseen – within families, workplaces, and communities. Yet, without you, no society, no educational institution, no system could function.

Today, in Kazakhstan, women hold leading positions in government, education, science, and business. More than half of Shakarim University’s faculty consists of women leaders who actively take the initiative and stand at the forefront of developing new approaches and strategies.

International Women's Day is not just a day to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women but also an opportunity to express our deep respect for their role in society. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to your profession!

Dear women of our university, on this joyous spring holiday, I wish you happiness, health, prosperity, and harmony in your families. May your hearts always be filled with love and warmth, and may happiness and joy always be by your side!

With respect,  Duman Orynbekov
