Deans and vice-deans of Shakarim University, who passed the competition among 170 candidates and won grants for training, participate in the unique program of Nazarbayev University “Academic Leadership Institute: Dean’s School”, aimed at supporting the professional growth and development of new generation leaders in the field of higher education in Kazakhstan.

The goal of the program is to promote the systemic transformation of higher education institutions, supporting the development of leadership qualities of senior management. The main areas of the program are academic leadership, management, development of educational programs and conducting research in the field of education.

Among the speakers of the course are the chairmen of the committees of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan G. Kobenova, A. Toybayev and famous scientists, program managers and department directors of Nazarbayev University and the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yassawi.

We believe that the program will become an important stage in the professional development of our colleagues, and after its successful completion will contribute to the transformation of the educational system at the university.
