For the first time in the country's history, the Kazakh delegation, led by the Minister of Science and Higher Education S. Nurbek, is presenting the opportunities of national higher education under the Study in Kazakhstan initiative at the international Bett Show exhibition.
Bett Show is an exhibition of advanced technologies and computers in the field of education. The mission of Bett is to bring together people, ideas, experiences, and technologies to unlock the potential of educators and learners.
The exhibition presented cutting-edge developments of companies and startups in the field of artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, as well as platforms for creating interactive educational materials. Among them:
1. Acemate.ai - an artificial intelligence platform that transforms traditional lecture materials into interactive educational content, and offers individual AI tutoring, instant feedback and adaptive assessments for students.
2. Beyond Words - an application for learning languages through virtual reality scenarios.
3. EDUardo Business Simulation — a business simulator for students that allows them to study entrepreneurship in a safe environment by simulating real business processes using AI tools.
4. IMITO Ltd — a London-based studio that creates immersive educational environments and AI avatars.
5. 3R Innovation, Inc. offers technologies for monitoring the psycho-emotional state of students. In its developments, the company actively uses eye tracking, sensor systems and AI to monitor ADHD, impulsivity and depression.
6. 5G NUMULTIMEDIA Limited — an EdTech company specializing in drone training via 5G, AI and STEAM education. The only provider in the world that teaches remote drone control via 5G in K-12.
7. Boundless Learning offers 450+ online programs, focusing on professional development and strategic management in education. Works with 17,000+ students from 150+ countries.
8. C2C — a platform for educational publishers helping to develop and deliver educational materials for K-12.
9. Enghouse Mediasite — a leading platform for video management and lecture recording. Provides remote and hybrid learning, offers support for 360° video and AI content analysis.
Among the solutions presented, innovations in the use of artificial intelligence, virtual reality and interactive learning platforms attracted special attention. Participation in the Bett UK exhibition allowed to get inspired by best practices from global practice, which will strengthen the adopted strategic course of the university on the implementation of innovations.
