Tree planting within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign

Today, organized by Shakarim Higher College, a large-scale tree planting event was held as part of the nationwide ecological campaign "Clean Kazakhstan."

The event brought together the leadership of Shakarim University, specialists from the "Semey Forest" State Natural Reserve, as well as college teachers and students. They planted young seedlings in designated areas within the university campus.

The purpose of the event is to increase green spaces, raise civic responsibility towards nature conservation, and pass on ecological values to future generations. This noble initiative aims to promote care for nature and foster an ecological culture.

All participants actively took part in planting. A total of 10 spruce trees, 20 honeysuckles, 35 apple trees, and 5 poplar seedlings were planted.

According to the organizers, such initiatives go beyond landscaping efforts; they also help cultivate a sense of environmental stewardship among youth. "Every tree planted is an investment in the future — it not only provides clean air but also becomes a green legacy for generations to come," said Toty Abdikarimova, the college director.

The "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign is widely held across the country. Its key feature is uniting society in joint activities to achieve tangible results in environmental protection. The team of Shakarim Higher College not only supported this initiative but also contributed significantly to promoting ecological awareness.

This campaign is part of large-scale efforts aimed at protecting the environment in our country.
